Reviews
I have been a friend of Louise's for a long while and am one of the people who encouraged her to publish this book. Having just finished it, I am thrilled by her work. It is such a beautiful window into her heart and all that she cares about. It is endearing, charming, intelligent, observant, celebratory, rebellious, artful, eclectic, poetic and whimsical. It is a gift to experience her remarkable life in print. If you have been a fan of hers through her varied career or simply her popularity on Days of Our Lives where, for decades, she played one of the most infamous villains on American television, you will want to read this so that you can be introduced to the real Louise and experience her talent in different clothes.
This is probably the best book I've ever read!!! No really. Louise Sorel is a wonderful writer... warm, wise but the power, the passion, the poignancy of her words is a gift you must give yourself. It is unique. It is sometimes painful...but you will be torn to want to keep reading or to stop and savor it over a longer time. Wow!!!
