About the Author: Julie has worked for over thirty years in pediatric and neonatal intensive care, from New York City, to Boston, to Providence, Rhode Island. She is a master’s prepared nurse practitioner with a passion for kids’ health.

When Julie decided to leave hospital work, she began to write medical fiction. She entertains her readers with stories from the front lines of neonatal and pediatric intensive care, and with behind-the-scenes activities of hospital life. Her writing is filled with suspense yet touched with human emotion.

Julie has three grown sons who are her light and inspiration. She lives with her husband on the south coast of Massachusetts.
