About the Author

C.H. Carter is a fantasy author with a lifelong love of the genre in all its forms. In middle school, she wrote a fan letter to Tamora Pierce and received the most encouraging reply! Deserves more hype! Pirates, mermaids, high stakes

Mermaids, pirates and a high-stakes fantasy adventure, oh my! I couldn't put this book down. It was one of the easiest to read books I've ever read.The world building was impeccable, and the characters' relationships were so complex. Ally and Pasha were so sweet and I loved Mahar's quips.
